The Planned Parenthood Action Fund of Georgia is the political arm of Planned Parenthood of Georgia and engages electoral activities including voter education and mobilization. We believe elected officials should support policies and programs that help women and their families make responsible choices about the prevention of unintended pregnancies and plan for healthy families. The Action Fund works to educate and mobilize the public and elect lawmakers who support these policies.

VoteChoice is the political action committee (PAC) of the Action Fund. Its focused mission is to provide direct financial support to candidates who would support reproductive freedom, the right to privacy and access to health care for all.

Planned Parenthood of Georgia (PPG) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization which provides health care services, education and advocacy statewide.

Women in the Halls is a special project that brings more women to the state Capitol during the annual legislative session. Often, lawmakers overlook our concerns, and the resulting public policies can be disastrous for the women of Georgia.

For more information information on any of these programs, call (404) 688-9305, ext. 310 or email at Nikema.Williams@ppfa.org

In today's political climate, the war on women and their reproductive rights is being waged everywhere — in the White House, in the halls of Congress, and in states like ours. The anti-choice movement continues to push for earlier, more stringent, and broader restrictions on abortion, birth control, pregnant women, and abortion providers than ever before. Anti-choice extremists continue to block and restrict access to emergency contraception at pharmacies in Georgia and across the country. Many abstinence-only sex education programs are providing young adults with misleading and inaccurate information about sex and birth control.  And in the highest court in the land, two new anti-choice Supreme Court justices threaten the razor-thin margin on the Supreme Court that supports the Roe v. Wade decision.

Despite these aggressive attacks from anti-choice extremists, the pro-choice community continues to fight back by defending our constitutional rights and proactively seeking to increase and expand access to reproductive health care.
